Last Thursday the 17th April 2008 during assembly I distributed water bottles and pencil and ruler sets to all of the pupils who are regulars passengers on the walking bus.
All passengers are doing their bit to keep themselves healthy and reduce the amount of traffic outside OUR school gates in the morning and got a well deserved PAT-ON-THE-BACK from fellow pupils, teachers and support staff.
If YOU (or your children) are interested in joing the bus and joingin in the fun then please contact the office to complete the necessary paperwork allowing you to take part and maybe you could be in the next photo shoot!!!

If you are still awaiting training to be a Walking Bus Driver then please drop me a line or contact Sue Benton directly – her details are here on the BLOG in the near future to arrange your training.
Ideally we would like every parent who’s children use the walking bus to drive the bus at least once a month – this eases the task for the regular drivers (You know who you are – keep up the good work!!).

How do everyone? Welcome back to school and congratulations to everyone who made it onto the walking bus this morning. There were 12 passengers on the bus…. but IF everyone reminds one person to join the bus tomorrow that will be almost a NEW record for the Holy Cross route.
Make sure you are all at school next Thursday morning (17th April) as there will be GOODIES handed out during assembly to ALL pupils that are signed up to the walking bus.
