To amend or add yourself to the Rota as driver this can be done by signing up to WORDPRESS and then letting me know what your username is alternatively please send an email to mmkf-lichfield@tiscali.co.uk stating what needs to be amended OR add a comment at the bottom of this page.
Welcome back to a NEW half term with St Josephs Walking Bus
In an attempt to simplify the Rota System for the HX Walking Bus I have added a list of dates and the “usual suspects” that drive the bus on these days. Please can we trial it this term toi see if it works – that is that people do their share as required and that the bis still runs on the majority of the days on which it should? If your name OR the name of any of the other drivers is NOT on this list please can you email me ASAP in order to have your name added to the list on the days when you are most liekly to be able to assist? If the drivers feel that we are ready to have the bus operating on 5 days a week then please let me know before Christmas in order that I can let other parents know through the school newsletter.

Good idea about liaising to get regular slots. Hopefully we will get to the stage where we might be able to share a slot too!
You can out me down for every Friday in October and through to end of December. I will let you know if something turns up in the meantime and I need an understudy.

Victoria will do the Thursday slot and I will do the Friday, we have agreed this, as I work on Thursday and so it is better that I do the Friday. Could you change the rota accordingly please? Also, as you know, Odette can do the walking bus as she trained and drove at Christchurch. Her son Stuart can also be a conductor. Odette is happy to do a regular slot, she works Wednesday and Thursday so cannot do those. Perhaps for now we ask her to cover when the regulars have another commitment or fancy a rest. We will hopefully get to the point where two people can share a slot. e.g. you and Mari could do the Thursday with Victoria and Odette and I can share the Friday. I am not sure if all the people on the HX rota have each others emails and mobiles so I will distribute what I have. It helps in emergencies e.g. this morning Kirsten could not drive so called me and asked me to replace or swap with her.

It is bags2school next Monday 8th December. People will hopefully be loaded down with bags to leave in the morning. How can we accomodate this and do the walking bus?

From January, Caroline and I will be swapping days on the HX rota. I will do Wednesday and Caroline will do Friday.
