What a GREAT afternoons entertainment we ALL had on Tuesday 4th Nov 2008.
The CIRCUS skills workshop was organised as a TREAT for all of the children who regularly walk on the walking bus.
Jay Linn was OUR entertainer and CIRCUS ringmaster - bringing along LOADS of toys and LOTS of enthusiasm to keep the children occupied for over 3 hours. Almost 35 passengers from Reception through to Year 6 took part in the fun and games in the school hall, learning how to balance peacock feathers, use juggling balls and clubs and play with spinning plates, unicycles, poi, chinese ribbons, diablo and devil sticks.
We also had a birthday cake to celebrate the first birthday of the St Josephs walking Bus routes.
Feedback from everyone has been really good and the school are hoping that it will encourage more children to get involved with the walking bus.
